Children & Teen Programs

Our Mission

The Children and Teens Program strives to decrease the negative effects of homelessness and trauma on children of various age groups and to empower them to lead healthy and successful lives. We do this through social and educational activities, assessing their needs and providing for them when appropriate, and facilitating referrals e.g. child care, before/after school care, McKinney Vento services, clothing, therapy services, diapers, YMCA membership, tutoring, as well as various positive activities outside of The Carying Place.
