- Credentialing and Certification: Provide access to industry-specific certifications that will directly enhance employability and earning potential.
- Affordable and Subsidized: Partner with local businesses, government agencies, or nonprofit organizations to subsidize tuition and provide participants with scholarships or low-cost financing options.
- Targeted Skill Development Tracks: Connect participants to specific upskilling tracks for industries that offer the potential for better-paying jobs, such as skilled trades, energy sector, healthcare, accounting, HR, banking, Biotech, digital technology, and entrepreneurship, to name a few.
- Supportive Services: Include career coaching, resume building, job search support, and soft skills development (communication, time management, leadership) to complement technical training. Although we are still expanding the scope of our own career coaching and job search services, we work closely with our community partners to connect participants to their specialized programs. These partners provide essential support in mentorship and professional development, allowing us to ensure individuals have access to the best resources available.
- Partnerships: TCP continues building partnerships to enhance the program’s impact. Some existing partnerships include local employers that offer internships, apprenticeships, or guaranteed job interviews for graduates. We also partner with Community Colleges & Trade Schools, Government & Workforce Boards that have grants to subsidize program costs for participants, and nonprofit partners to provide wraparound services, such as childcare, transportation stipends, or mentorship.
